We have been working on the Letter K this week.  Our Nursery Rhyme is Hickory Dickory Dock.

Our Kindergarten friends were so excited to make a huge snowball at recess! 

February is Dental Health month.  We went to the cafeteria for a presentation given by the Health Department on how to keep our teeth healthy!

Our Second Grade friends came down to our room to help us with our Hundred Day Centers.  We had so much fun!  Thank you Mrs. Everett and our Second Grade friends!

Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins!

We now know what the terms estimate and circumference mean!  First, we had to estimate how long we

thought a string should be to go around our pumpkin.  Then, we actually measured the circumference to see who had the closest estimation.

We learned Fire Safety from the Geneseo Fire Department.  They talked to us about the importance of having a meeting place if your house ever catches fire.  Have you talked to your child about where to meet?
