THANK YOU to all of our parents who volunteered their time and donated items for our 50′s day celebration!  We could not have done it without you!  We had so much fun!  Our morning consisted of creating a Mickey Mouse pattern headband, learning the hand jive, drag racing, sorting out our 50 things collections, playing a dice game, and making 50 tally marks/patterns.  The afternoon started out with root beer floats from the soda shop, having a bubble blowing contest, and eating popcorn at the drive-in movie theater!  Our day concluded with a sock hop in the cafeteria.  We were able to limbo, hula hoop, hand jive, twist, bunny hop, and stroll!

A special THANK YOU to Mrs. Craig for video taping our sock hop!

Miss Paula comes to our class once a month for an Ag In The Classroom lesson.  This month she taught us that the ingredients on a pizza comes from a farm. We leaned how to make a “pizza”, were able to sample some pizza flavored crackers, and Miss Paula taught us a pizza song!
