This past week, students participated in their beginning of the year assessments. This information is used to highlight student strengths and to identify areas in our curriculum to spend more time on throughout the year. These beginning of the year assessments are given to all students.
This year, Geneseo Middle School will be utilizing an Office Pre-Ferral Form. Students who are “caught” doing something good out of the ordinary, will be given an Office Pre-Ferral. These students will meet with one of the principals and be recognized for their positive behavior! At the end of each quarter the principals will have a special recognition lunch, to recognize each student who has received a Pre-Ferral throughout the quarter.
As the new school year starts, it is extremely important for students to practice good habits and start off on the right foot.
