It was great to get back to normal today and move forward. Remember to study your spelling words since the test is Thursday. We will keep working on our biographies tomorrow. If you read this tonight, come to me and tell me Henry Ford and a surprise will be waiting for you.
Today seemed to fly by very fast. Today we got started with longitude. These lines go up and down from the North Pole down to the South Pole. We will practice again tomorrow. You all did a great job on the 2 note cards we did on comparing numbers by using greater than and less than.

Today came back the science and math test. I was really proud of the work you did today on Latitude. I love social studies. Learning about maps is like learning how to find a treasure. Keep up the good work.
What a week we are going to have. We have a math test, a science quiz, and a spelling test. I know you can do it. WE will practice so that you feel confident. I love how we have started the year. You are all working hard and getting into the routine of 4th grade. Keep it up!

Since Geneseo won the Game Friday night, I was wearing the Green today. It was fun.
Remember to get all of your work done for tomorrow. I have quite a few blanks in my grade book. Tomorrow is the Continents and Oceans test. YOU can do it!
We will keep working on the measurement unit in Science. kilometer, meter, centimeter, millimeter.
I lost the bet with Maddie. I will be wearing Green Machine garb on Tuesday since Moline lost. Maddie was very gracious and didn’t say, “I told you so.”

I went and sat with Maddie Mackey on the Geneseo side of the field in my Moline sweatshirt. It was fun. I didn’t stay for the whole game so I don’t know who won yet. I’m hoping Maddie will be wearing that Moline shirt I got for her! We will see. I hope you have a great weekend. Enjoy.
