My long awaited return to the blog
This week we will be finishing up 3-dimensional geometry in Pre Algebra. We will be looking at surface area of prisms and pyramids. At the end of the week, we will be working with story problems dealing with 3-dimensional shapes (it will be very important to draw pictures during this time.
In Course 2 we will begin our journey into geometry. We will start by looking at the building blocks of geometry; points, lines, rays, and line segments. We will finish the week with a quiz over the first four sections of chapter 8.
Problem of the week #17 is posted. It is one of my personal favorite POWs. Helpful hint: work backwards, start with the fact that he is broke at the end of it all and work backwards. Good Luck.
