This summer I returned to Alaska for a brief time to catch the end of the Sockeye Salmon run and fish the Coho (Silver) and Pink Salmon run. The trip was fun change of pace and was an overall success as I helped catch 179,000 lbs of salmon during my brief stay. Where the fish were caught is the healthiest and world’s largest natural Salmon run in Bristol Bay, near Dillingham Alaska in the bay in front of the Wood and Nushagak Rivers.
I have attached a few photos from the trip using the NextGEN (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nextgen-gallery/)
This is the best overall photo plugin for WordPress and allows you to upload entire albums at a time, write descriptions, choose gallery styles, use thumbnails or customize a flash based slideshow.
This gallery I uploaded all photos at once – and choose the ImageBrowser Style includes the Slideshow option as well. Overall this plugin gets a 5 out 5 stars by me, since you can easily upload entire albums with ease – with this plugin you can store and host your own albums and avoid many of the restrictions imposed by third party photo services (snapfish, shutterfly, etc.)
